Unique within KBR offerings, APT sought the expertise of HexaGroup to improve its messaging and establish a stronger online presence on the large, overarching KBR corporate site. The communications and creative teams at HexaGroup first developed all text and graphics for the APT section, and implemented deeper navigation with interactive infographics to help users understand what APT does. HexaGroup also developed the section with SEO in mind, resulting in solid content and keywords that are updated on an ongoing basis through a Google analysis of the market. Because the KBR corporate site was not developed on a CMS, it was challenging to activate new sections of the site or add new pages without impacting the overall site’s functionality. The HexaGroup team worked with KBR’s web group to carefully integrate all content into the APT section, while exactly following the corporate site’s look and feel and existing user interface.
The HexaGroup team also worked with the KBR technology and marketing groups to develop an integrated marketing campaign to promote the APT group worldwide. HexaGroup interviewed all key stakeholders to solidify the strategy and understand details of the APT group’s offerings, ultimately developing promotional campaigns focused on international markets. Campaigns are mainly event-based and promote luncheons, webinars, etc. In an ongoing marketing communications support role, HexaGroup also develops corporate presentations, sales and executive presentations, speaking engagements, and international email campaigns, produces videos and provides overall graphic support.
