PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: July 23, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how HexaGroup ("HexaGroup," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit www.hexagroup.com (the "Website"), contact us, complete our Growth Optimization survey, or otherwise interact with us. HexaGroup is a member-owner of BBN, a global network of independent B2B marketing agencies, and this policy describes the practices of HexaGroup as the entity responsible for information collected through the Website.

This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Cookie Policy, which provides detail on the cookies and similar technologies we use.

Who we are

HexaGroup is a marketing and growth strategy agency serving energy and industrial companies, providing branding, marketing, sales-alignment, and customer-experience ("Growth Engine") services.
Our principal office is located at  5373 W Alabama St. Suite 505, Houston, TX 77056.

Information we collect

Information you provide to us. We collect personal information you choose to share when you:

  • Submit our contact form or send us a message through the Get In Touch page, including your name, email address, phone number, company, and the contents of your inquiry.
  • Complete our Growth Optimization / "runway ready" survey, delivered through our survey provider (SurveySparrow), including any responses and contact details you provide.
  • Interact with our LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, or TikTok pages, subject to those platforms' own privacy practices.
  • Sign up for any newsletter or insights communications we may offer, including your name and email address.

Information we collect automatically. When you visit the Website, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information through cookies and similar technologies, including your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring website, and how you interact with our content and forms. This includes information collected via Google Tag Manager, HubSpot (our website platform and analytics), CallRail (call tracking for visitors who contact us by phone), and Leadsy.ai (which identifies the companies of Website visitors for sales and marketing follow-up). Our Cookie Policy describes these technologies in detail.

How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and provide information about our services.
  • Process and follow up on Growth Optimization survey responses.
  • Attribute phone calls and form submissions to the marketing channel that generated them.
  • Identify the organizations of Website visitors to support sales outreach and account-based marketing.
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Website and our content.
  • Measure the effectiveness of our marketing and reach relevant audiences in the energy and industrial sector.
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect the security and integrity of our business and Website.

We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

Our legal basis for processing (EEA/UK visitors)

Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases to process personal information:

  • Consent — for non-essential cookies and tracking technologies, and for marketing communications you opt into.
  • Legitimate interests — to respond to inquiries, operate and secure the Website, and understand and improve our marketing, provided these interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Contract — where processing is necessary to provide services you request.
  • Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose information to comply with the law.

You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers. We share information with vendors who perform services on our behalf, including website hosting and analytics (HubSpot), call tracking (CallRail), visitor identification (Leadsy.ai), survey delivery (SurveySparrow), accessibility tools (AccessiBe), and content delivery (Google Fonts, Google Tag Manager). These providers are authorized to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us.
  • BBN network affiliates. As a member-owner of BBN, we may share information with affiliated BBN agencies for referral, collaboration, and administrative purposes consistent with this policy.
  • Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information when required by law, in response to legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of HexaGroup, our employees, or others.
  • Business transfers. If HexaGroup is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Some of our advertising, analytics, and identification partners may collect information directly through cookies and tags on our Website. Please see our Cookie Policy for more information and for your choices regarding these technologies.

Your choices and rights

  • Cookies. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies through the cookie banner presented when you first visit the Website, and you can change your preferences at any time using the "Cookie Settings" link in the Website footer or through your browser settings.
  • Newsletter. You can unsubscribe from any newsletter at any time using the link in the relevant email.
  • Advertising and identification opt-outs. You may opt out of certain interest-based advertising through the Network Advertising Initiative (networkadvertising.org/choices) and the Digital Advertising Alliance (aboutads.info/choices).
  • Access, correction, deletion, and objection. Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to receive a copy of your information in a portable format. California residents specifically have the right to know, delete, and correct their personal information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and the use of sensitive personal information, without discrimination for exercising these rights. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
  • Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. Some of the technologies described in our Cookie Policy — including advertising cookies and Website visitor-identification tools — may be considered a "sale" or "share" of personal information under California law. You can update your preferences at any time using the "Privacy Preferences" link in the Website footer, by adjusting your cookie settings, or by contacting us using the details below. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods for cookies are described in our Cookie Policy.

  • International data transfers  — HexaGroup is based in the United States, and our service providers (including HubSpot, CallRail, Leadsy.ai, and others named in our Cookie Policy) may process personal information in the United States or other countries outside your own. Where we transfer personal information from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland to a country not deemed to provide an adequate level of data protection, we rely on appropriate safeguards — such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum — to protect your information.

Data security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-party links

The Website may contain links to third-party websites and platforms, including our social media pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

Cookie Policy – HexaGroup

Last updated: July 23, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how HexaGroup ("we," "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on www.hexagroup.com (the "Website"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include pixels, tags, and local storage. They can be set by us (first-party) or by third parties whose services we use (third-party). Some last only for your session; others (persistent cookies) remain until they expire or you delete them.

Categories we use

Strictly necessary (always on). Required for the Website to function and cannot be switched off. Includes HubSpot session, security, and form-functionality cookies, and resource requests to Google Fonts. We do not require consent for these.

Analytics cookies (consent required). Help us understand how visitors use the Website so we can improve it.

  • HubSpot: analyzes visitor traffic and ties form submissions to a visit. Lifespan ranges from session to 13 months.
  • Google Tag Manager: does not itself set cookies but loads the tags in this list; specific tags configured inside the container beyond those detected here are not covered by this audit.

Advertising and identification cookies (consent required). Track browsing activity, attribute inquiries to marketing channels, or identify the organizations behind Website visits.

  • CallRail: assigns a tracking phone number and session identifier to attribute calls to marketing sources. Typically expires after 90 days.
  • Leadsy.ai: matches visitor IP/browsing data against a database to identify the company associated with a visit, for sales and marketing follow-up. Does not identify individual visitors by name.
  • LinkedIn: sets cookies if you interact with the "Follow on LinkedIn" widget. Governed by LinkedIn's own cookie policy.

Functional cookies (consent recommended). Support optional features that are not strictly required for the Website to load.

  • SurveySparrow: remembers your progress and responses if you start the Growth Optimization survey.
  • AccessiBe: remembers accessibility display preferences you select via the accessibility widget.

Why we use non-essential cookies

We use analytics cookies to understand and improve site performance and content; call-tracking and identification tools to understand which marketing efforts generate inquiries and to route sales follow-up; and social/survey tools to support optional site features. We do not use these cookies to make automated decisions about you.

Your choices

When you first visit the Website you will be presented with a cookie banner allowing you to accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your preferences at any time by clicking the "Cookie Settings" link in the Website footer. You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking non-essential cookies will not affect access to the Website's core content. For advertising opt-outs you may also use the Network Advertising Initiative (networkadvertising.org/choices) and the Digital Advertising Alliance (aboutads.info/choices).

Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy as our practices or the tools we use change. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision.
