When John Crane, a leading mechanical seals provider with a 100-year legacy, needed to position itself as a leader in the energy transition, they turned to HexaGroup to spearhead a comprehensive transformation. The challenge was twofold: bring their sustainability leadership to the forefront while seizing emerging opportunities in hydrogen, CCUS, emissions reduction, and energy efficiency.
We held brand positioning workshops to develop updated messaging that integrated sustainability into John Crane's core identity and built a robust content culture with 60+ pieces of content. The cherry on top was our integrated marketing campaign, which helped John Crane reach more than 1,700 prospects—including 63% of its Tier I targets.

PipeSense's AI-driven leak detection software boasts 99.9% accuracy in a landscape where false positives are the norm. Yet, this innovative solution was struggling to gain traction among pipeline operators. The challenge wasn’t the technology, it was the lack of awareness surrounding it.
Through deep-dive workshops, we developed a memorable big long idea: "When everything is on the line, PipeSense is common sense." This positioning reflects the critical importance of fast, accurate leak detection while spotlighting PipeSense as a practical alternative to systems that simply don't work.
We brought this idea to life through three core visual approaches: a "non-disclaimer," a dictionary definition format, and an "It Just Works" stamp. The award-winning website features an innovative toggle that reminds managers just how much is at stake, and how much better life could be without false positives.
